Work start times were staggered in organisations for those required to attend premises. Only 50% on site at any one time. Those who can work from home do. The buildings not required by organisations, converted for living premises, providing homes and work in the unskilled necessary work. Just a change of use required.

In 1978 the Government provided a 12 week programme for transitioning people that allowed them to work, and learn. Focusing on key skills, interview skills and connection with in-demand work. Can we reintroduce the scheme targeting civil service recruitment initially, for business to redeploy their furloughed or redundant employees to transition into civil service jobs. A good example would be the recent campaign from Civil Service roles at Airports, for key immigration roles, would be great for ex employees leaving airlines and travel businesses.

What if we have a siesta like Spain, it would help with mental wellbeing of all colleagues. You would avoid the midday sun, colleagues would work limited hours, as well as having a longer lunch and feeling relaxed for those colleagues who start super early in the morning, as well has helping with their digestion as having a heavier lunch midday is better and more healthier and then having a lighter dinner after we get back home. And also a healthier heart, more relaxed. People would be more productive and much more happier and being able to have more time to socialise in the evenings instead of work, work, work.
